Madeleine Cottage
Madeleine Cottage is a discrete family-friendly holiday property – perfect accommodation for small groups or bigger families. It has a private garden and a lovely warm log burner. The house can sleep six people. One of the double rooms is on the ground floor and has an ensuite bathroom.
The building is situated in a corner of the Woodhouse courtyard and is very popular with those wanting to explore Devon with ease by day and then relax in their holiday cottage. A nice feature is the walled sun-deck overlooking the gardens, accessed from the living room. The house has had a make-over with new flooring and furniture along with two new shower rooms and an updated sitting room.
Facilities
Madeleine Cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The house features a large sitting room with an excellent log burning stove a 43″ smart TV and Marshall Bluetooth speaker. There is a well-equipped kitchen/ dining room with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine.
The master bedroom on the first-floor features wonderful original oak-beams across the double-height ceiling.
Madeleine Cottage is connected to free-to-use super-fast mesh wi-fi internet which works inside the property and outdoors.
Outside Areas
The cottage has two sunny patios as part of its private garden. There’s a charcoal barbeque for the property.
There’s also a rotary washing line in the garden.
The children’s playground can be directly accessed from the garden gate. Just across the courtyard it is a quick skip over to Ashcombe Cottage’s heated indoor pool or out of the gate to the children’s playground.
Parking & EV Charging
There are two car parking areas near the house shared with three other cottages.
On the courtyard side of Endeavour Farmhouse there are two type 2 7.3kw EV charging points. Charging is through the Project EV app. To save time before arrival, download and set up the Project EV app from The Apple App Store or Google Play. All you need to do is scan the QR code on the charger and plug in your car. This will charge your vehicle at a rate of 30 miles of range per hour. Please remember to bring your own cable.

A cleverly designed corner building with a large south facing window and sheltered patio. Small flight of steps to entrance. Kitchen with dining area and living room, leather sofas and 43″ Smart TV with Blu-Ray player. This leads to a sheltered decked patio with a charcoal BBQ, once a bull pen!
