Freedom Cottage overlooks the charming Woodhouse Courtyard and offers a stylish, family-friendly holiday retreat within the Ashcombe Estate. Extensively modernised, redecorated and refurbished, the cottage combines contemporary comfort with countryside character.
Sleeping up to 8 guests across 3 spacious bedrooms, Freedom Cottage is arranged over three floors. A raised ground-floor entrance leads into a bright and welcoming sitting room, which connects to a well-equipped galley kitchen and a sun deck overlooking the rear of the property.

Ideal for families and smaller groups, each of the three generous bedrooms benefits from its own en-suite shower room, providing comfort, privacy and convenience for everyone
Located within Woodhouse Farm, the cottage enjoys easy access to the estate’s excellent leisure facilities, including the indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room and outdoor playground, making it a popular choice for relaxing family holidays in the countryside.
Facilities
The kitchen is equipped with two larder fridges, an oven and induction hob. The dining room table can seat 8 people. There are large leather sofas, a new 43″ Smart TV and a Marshall Bluetooth Speaker in the sitting room. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms. Two double bedrooms have televisions. The sitting room has a powerful 8kw log burning stove.
Internet comes from a Starlink connection combined with Airband broadband means there up to 300mb/s internet throughout the buildings using a seamless Mesh Wi-Fi network.
Outside Areas
The house has a raised private sun-deck at the rear which is ideal for barbeques on the charcoal barbecue. At the front is the Woodhouse communal garden/ courtyard. There is a private garden/ lawn area exclusively for Freedom Cottage above Rainbow Cottage’s garden.
A few yards away is the heated indoor pool and children’s play areas on the other side of the courtyard. There are steps off the rear patio for easy access.
Parking & EV Charging
There are two car parking areas near the house shared with three other cottages.
On the courtyard side of Endeavour Farmhouse there are t wo type 2 7.3kw EV charging points. Charging is through the Project EV app. To save time before arrival, download and set up the Project EV app from The Apple App Store or Google Play. All you need to do is scan the QR code on the charger and plug in your car. This will charge your vehicle at a rate of 30 miles of range per hour. Please remember to bring your own cable.

Stairs to lower ground floor: Two bedrooms; one triple with en-suite shower room/W.C. One king-size bed with additional single bed, together with a newly refurbished en-suite bathroom/W.C. with shower.
Stairs up from living room to first floor: Double bedroom with en-suite shower room/W.C. This room has a window overlooking the courtyard as well as a Velux window for more light. There is a sofa and TV in the bedroom
