Columbia Cottage
Columbia Cottage was recently restored. It’s a family-friendly holiday property – an ideal holiday cottage for larger groups and for extended family.
The property is the winner of a 2022 and 2026 Customer Choice Award for exceptionally high guest feed-back scores.
Columbia Cottage has extensively restored open-plan kitchen, sitting room and dining rooms. Overlooking the Woodhouse Farm courtyard, it is an excellent base for lots of easy-to-reach South Devon excursions. Across the courtyard is the Woodhouse Farm indoor swimming pool and other facilities.
Big Accommodation
Columbia Cottage sleeps up to 15 people in 7 bedrooms. The house features a large original oak-beamed dining room, and similar sitting room
Facilities
43″ Smart TV, and blu-ray player, leather sofas and a powerful log-burner fire. There’s an open plan kitchen and sitting room, featuring a breakfast bar so the cooks can chat to everyone. The kitchen is designed to cater for big groups so there is a new American-style fridge freezer, professional oven and induction hob. The large dining room table can seat 16 people.
Two of the bedrooms are located in a charming rounded part of the building once used for milling wheat with horses. All the double bedrooms have televisions.
The house has up to 300mb/s super-fast mesh wi-fi internet from Starlink and Airband Broadband.
Outside Areas
The holiday property has a private garden created in 2021 a perfect place for sheltered sunny barbeques on the custom-made charcoal BBQ. The lawn garden is accessed from the first floor rear patio doors.
There’s also extensive seating for the property on the courtyard terrace outside the front doors with two large oak tables with sun shades.
Just across from the courtyard is Ashcombe Cottage’s heated indoor pool and children’s play areas.
Parking & EV Charging
There are two car parking areas near the house shared with three other cottages.
On the courtyard side of Endeavour Farmhouse there are t two type 2 7.3kw EV charging points. Charging is through the Project EV app. To save time before arrival, download and set up the Project EV app from The Apple App Store or Google Play. All you need to do is scan the QR code on the charger and plug in your car. This will charge your vehicle at a rate of 30 miles of range per hour. Please remember to bring your own cable.
