Directions

Ashcombe Cottages are some of the quickest and easiest to reach in Devon, but please use our instructions and don’t rely on your sat-nav within the village as you may end up in the wrong place!

These directions apply to all properties apart from The Cider Barn

• Follow M5 west past Exeter, stay on road as it becomes the A38
• The dual carriageway comes to a very steep hill (Telegraph Hill) and splits.
• Take the left fork road (A380 signed to Torquay).
• Follow the road for about 3 miles from the top of the hill.
• After a long avenue of beech trees, left exit signed Teignmouth (B3192)
• At round-a-bout: go straight on towards “Ashcombe Cottages” and Teignmouth B3192.
• Please DO NOT turn left to the village of Ashcombe.
• After 1 mile left at sign for “Ashcombe Cottages” & “Ashcombe Shooting Ground”
• Down Zig-Zag Hill
• Past the entrance to the Ashcombe Shooting Ground on the left and follow the road along the valley
• The Thatched Office is the first building you come to on your left signed “Cottage Office” at Nut Tree Farm.
• Signs to other cottages are easy to see. You will have received emailed instructions for your cottage key-safes.
