Ashcombe has the Village Club for a pint but if you would like to venture further afield there are a host of excellent local pubs to visit.
We have suggested a few of our favourites here, but we are fortunately spoilt for choice in South Devon as there are a great variety: from the traditional country pub with roaring fire to town pubs and more exclusive gastro-pubs which often rival the Devon restaurants for fine-dining quality and style.
There should be something for everyone.
