Endeavour Farmhouse is a spacious and beautifully appointed holiday cottage, ideal for large groups, family gatherings and extended family stays.
Overlooking the stunning Ashcombe Valley and the historic Woodhouse Courtyard, the farmhouse combines countryside charm with modern comfort. The interior has been extensively refurbished, with recent improvements also made to the exterior and landscaped garden areas.

Inside the Farmhouse
The large open-plan sitting and dining areas create the perfect social space for relaxing and entertaining. Two log-burning stoves provide a warm and cosy atmosphere throughout the property, while a 50kW solar array powers efficient electric radiators.
Guests can enjoy a range of modern amenities including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, 43-inch Smart TV, Blu-ray player and superfast mesh WiFi powered by Starlink and Ashcombe’s own Airband mast. All double bedrooms are equipped with Freeview televisions for added comfort and convenience.
The detached farmhouse accommodates up to 15 guests across 7 bedrooms, with accommodation thoughtfully arranged over both ground and first floors.
Facilities
Designed to cater for big groups, there is a large American-Style fridge freezer, a traditional AGA Cooker plus additional electric oven and induction hob. There is up to 300mb/s imesh internet in the house.
Along with the rest of the property, the kitchen has been completely refurbished with granite worktops, new lighting, cupboards and a slate floor. The dining room tables can seat 16 people.
As a nice hidden feature, the utility room beyond the kitchen has a 5 person sauna for Endeavour’s guests to enjoy.
Outside Areas
The rear patio garden has a charcoal bbq for outdoor cuisine at any time of year. There’s also a large private Hot Tub.
There is another patio area at the front of the property and some of the recently updated car park has a lawned area.
Just across from the front door it is just a few yards to the heated indoor swimming pool and children’s play areas.
Parking & EV Charging
Endeavour Farmhouse has a large private car parking area with more garden area incorporated into it.
On the courtyard side of the house there are two type 2 7.3kw EV charging points. Charging is through the Project EV app. To save time before arrival, download and set up the Project EV app from The Apple App Store or Google Play. All you need to do is scan the QR code on the charger and plug in your car. This will charge your vehicle at a rate of 30 miles of range per hour. Please remember to bring your own cable.

A walk about the property
Entering the building through the front door leads into the large open-plan living rooms. On the right is the sitting room with leather sofas, a 43″ flat screen digital TV, internet-enabled Blu-ray player, Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and wood burning stove. The dining room is to the left, with another wood burning stove. From the dining room, a door leads into the large kitchen and then utility room/ sauna room with a door to the sunny garden. From the entrance hall / living room past the downstairs WC there is a double bedroom with a new ensuite bathroom with over bath shower / WC. This room is suitable for disabled guests and has a wall-mounted television.
Upstairs from the sitting room area there is a long landing with 6 further bedrooms: two double bedrooms each with en-suite shower rooms/W.Cs, a twin bedroom with ensuite shower/ WC, two triple-bedded rooms, one with en-suite shower /W.C. and a single bedroom ideal for smaller children.
