The Ashcombe Adventure Centre has been getting people muddy for nearly twenty years. Guests over 14 years old can once again act like they are... 14 years old! Tackle the amazing 10 miles of off-road quad-bike safari track, learn to shoot clays, archery or even shooting each other with semi-automatic paintball guns!

The centre, which islocated on the Ashcombe Estate has some 40 Quad-Bikes, skid-steer karts and rage-buggies available and offers instruction and guided safari-tours through the woodlands and fields surrounding Ashcombe.  Naturally, overalls and helmets are provided... but you should still expect you to get quite muddy. 

The Paintball site is probably one of the most entertaining in the country, it has its own self-contained facilities and has a great mix of different areas, including one with a real downed light aircraft!   State-of-the-art modern semi-automatic guns and full protective gear are provided.

There are over 20 automatic Clay Pigeon  traps which can be used on a 'turn up and shoot' basis or with an Ashcombe Adventure Centre instructor who will be able to get you connecting with targets most satisfyingly. There is also a Skeet Range to further test the shooting skills.

The centre also offers you the chance to try archery, their Krypton Factor style brain-teaser giant puzzles, the longest hyperslide / zip-line you will ever go down and you can finish it all off with food and beer in the aptly named "Stagger Inn" bar and restaurant in the main buildings.
