The 2013 Devon County Show is on the 16th, 17th & 18th May and is a fabulous celebration of the great British countryside and a terrific day out, too.
The Diggerland JCB Stunt Team will perform their gravity-defying routine, which includes handstands, in the Main Arena, and Savage Skills - the UK’s leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team will show visitors what they can do in a display of skill and courage. They will then help people to follow in their tracks. Ben Savage, a former world champion heads up the team which includes eight world and 25 British championship titles.
Entertainment spills out into other features, picnic area and the avenues. Don't miss the comic robot genius Titan or Mr & Mrs Mouse and Peppa Pig for our younger visitors on Saturday only. The bandstand, sponsored by Babcock LDP, has a packed programme of young musicians, the BBC is broadcasting live from the showground and, on Saturday, the fantastic City of Exeter Marching Band.

The Show is the curtain raiser for the South West agricultural season and is honoured to be hosting two national cattle shows – the South Devons and Dexters.
Away from the livestock will be BBC “MasterChef: The Professionals” winner, Anton Piotrowski, championing fabulous local food and drink. Anton, from The Treby Arms near Plymouth, will be a judge in the Show’s Spring Sausage Competition and also demonstrate some of the skills that are propelling him to the top of his profession. Tuck into a slice of Devon with a selection from the many stalls selling a fabulous range of local food and drink. Sumptuous local dishes and delicious beverages are ready to tantalise the taste buds at the huge county celebration.
The 118th County Show is a giant shop window for all that’s best in farming, food and the countryside. Known as “Devon’s big day out”, there’s a multitude of attractions to enjoy including an amazing floral art feature in the popular Flower & Garden marquee, show-jumping, heavy horses, traditional rural crafts and skills, candle waxing and honey making and, of course, miles of shopping avenues offering fashion, interior design, outdoor living and the countryside in abundance.
